Standards-based
Connectivity for the Enterprise
Because
of its support for high volume data transactions, Model 204
is the ideal super-server for large information systems. Using
Connect✭, Model 204 becomes the hub of a
very high capacity client/server architecture that will meet
the demands of the most data-intensive applications. Its
the fastest, standards-based, multi-threaded connection between
Model 204 mainframe data and client applications.
Connect✭
for .NET
With
the release of V7R1, the Connect✭
Suite now offers a new connectivity driver set for the .NET
Framework. This newest addition to our product line gives
our customers a new client/server offering for developers
using the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment
for Windows. This newest driver will provide Windows developers
with a direct API to any Model 204 instance. The .NET driver
API has a complete set of methods and its own namespace to
integrate any Web or GUI application using the .NET Framework.
The .NET
driver supports both SQL and Model 204s own RCL (User
Language), so your data can be accessed using the statements
that make the most sense for your particular application.
Connect✭
for
JDBC
Our
JDBC driver support allows customers to significantly expand
their Model 204 data to include not only Windows, but any
Java-enabled platform as well. Now you can connect just about
ANY client platform to Model 204, as long as it is Java-enabled.
This extends the world of Model 204 connectivity to include
Unix and Linux platforms, Palm and cellular devices, and many
others.
The
JDBC driver supports both SQL and Model 204s own RCL
(User Language), so your data can be accessed using the statements
that make the most sense for your particular application.
Connect✭
for
ODBC
Our
ODBC driver features a 32-bit API that lets you easily develop
Windows-based applications that access server-based Model
204 data. So you can deploy easy-to-use, cost-effective, portable
client applications, while still benefitting from the performance,
capacity, and security provided by Model 204.
The
ODBC driver supports both SQL and Model 204s own RCL
(User Language), so your data can be accessed using the statements
that make the most sense for your particular application.
